      I wrote a bit about the new rule, and where I think it will go in the future, also outlined the changes in the rules and touched on what exactly hand checking and an arm-bar is for people who aren't familiar with those moves.

        @jeffborzello: STAT OF THE DAY: yesterday, five teams attempted at least 50 free throws. Last season, 11 did -- the ENTIRE season.

            67 fouls and 109 FT attempts

            It happened at Independence CC at Barton County on November 30.

            Indy made 43 of 612 FTs and Barton made 31 of 48. Indy was whistled 28 times while Barton drew 39 whistles.

            To be fair, it did go 2 OT periods,but 92 FTs were attempted in regulation.
